Parallel Cards
Parallel Cards are insert cards that are similar in design to its base set counterpart, but has some sort of variation. Examples of parallel cards are frmo sets that have the same card in silver and gold borders. Another example are Finest Refractors. Some of the earliest parallel cards were from the Topps Tiffany sets in the 1980's, and the 1991 Topps Desert Shield set.
