Unopened Packs
Unopened packs of sports cards have always been favorites of some collectors. I guess it's the chance of finding something good inside an unopened pack that makes pack collecting and pack ripping so attractive to collectors. Some collectors will open a pack as soon as they get it in their hands, while other collectors choose to keep their packs unopened for eternity!
There are several types of unopened packs in the trading card hobby. The best known and most often referred to type of pack is called a wax pack. The term wax pack has become a generic term in the hobby, even if the packs don't use wax anymore.
